Tim began his experience in the area of firearm law working for the National Rifle Association’s Institute for Legislative Action. He carried this experience over to the premier boutique law firm Michel & Associates, which specializes in the area of firearm law. Tim handled a number of complex firearm matters, including the drafting of an amicus curiae brief to a court of appeals explaining the legal and technical applications of California’s assault weapons laws. Tim worked daily with firearm clients, focusing on various civil and regulatory matters. Tim also participated in a number of criminal defense matters relating to firearms, including charges of possessing pen guns, assault weapons, and firearms that should have been classified as antiques.
